Yakatabune is a traditional Japanese passenger boat that was popular during the Edo period as an elegant and stylish form of entertainment. Today, the Yakatabune is popular amongst all ages and is used in a wide range of occasions such as corporate events, banquets, family celebrations, friends’ birthday parties, wedding parties or simply as a part of Tokyo sightseeing.
Ebiya’s Yakatabune has an old-fashioned atmosphere with tatami rooms (Ozashiki) but is also equipped with air conditioning and flushing toilets to ensure the guest’s greatest comfort. A 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo can be enjoyed from the observation deck. Authentic Japanese cuisine made from ingredients purchased from Toyosu will be served on the boat. The Tempura is fried on board and our recommended Sake is served. Please enjoy the special Tokyo with Ebiya’s Yakatabune for an exceptional memory in Japan.

Shojin Ryori:
Cuisine with the purpose of avoiding killings and earthly desires based on the teachings of Buddhism.
After leaving the dock, the boat will pass under the Rainbow Bridge and head to Odaiba. At Odaiba, the boat will anchor for some time while you enjoy the view from the observation deck and eat fresh tempura. Karaoke will be available at all times for entertainment. The boat will head towards “Kiyosu Bridge” on the way to a unique bridge that crosses over Sumida River. After enjoying the view of Asakusa Skytree, the boat will head back to the dock.

Reservations can be made for a minimum of 10 passengers on weekdays, and 15 passengers on weekends and national holidays. Smaller reservations are possible provided the same minimum price is met (143,000 yen on weekdays, 214,500 yen on weekends, tax included). The boat has a capacity of 60 people, however we recommend about 40 people to board the boat. If there are a large number of customers the boat may be divided into two vessels.
